In 1986, Japanese businessman has suffered severe financial losses and decided to commit suicide . He drank (supposedly) three bottles of sake and after returning home, stabbed himself in the head with skewer for crushing ice. Fortunately skewer passed between the cerebral hemispheres in the brain and has little havoc . After the accident businessman lost his ability reading by left eye (right retained this ability).
86 -year-old pensioner from Milan stroke damaged the right side of the brain. When asked to describe the buildings in Cathedral Square in Medialonie from the perspective of the cathedral stairs she could replace only those buildings , which were on the right side . The left side of the square ceased to exist for her .
Neuromarketing is a close relative of medicine. Due to unfortunate accidents and diseases medicine acquired information about the functioning of our brain. In addition, the knowledge was gained by medical research and measurement of changes in living organisms. Neuromarketing borrowed this knowledge , as well as methods of medical research . It happened too quickly - omitted basic research as a methodology for neuromarketing . Nuerological patients (and their doctors ) fought to maintain the life and no one has studied their behavior in contact with eg products or ads. Neuromarketing strive for the earliest possible commercialization of medical methods , aside from basic research methods. Methods and tools of neuromarketing ( and especially the interpretation of results ) , despite the continuous refining, remain constant imperfect.
